Terms of Use
Last updated 16 September 2026 · Applies to the MedQbit chat at medqbit.com and in the MedQbit mobile app
This is an early release of a product still being built. Answers can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong; features can change or stop working; the service can be unavailable without notice. Please treat every answer as a starting point to check, not a result to rely on.
1. Agreeing to these terms
MedQbit is provided by THETHS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("TheThs", "we"). By using MedQbit you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
You must be 18 or older to use MedQbit.
2. What MedQbit is
MedQbit is an AI assistant for finding healthcare in Delhi-NCR. It searches the TheThs directory — hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, doctors, procedures and listed prices — and answers in ordinary language. It can also explain what a test or procedure generally is.
3. What MedQbit is not
MedQbit does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, prescribe medicine, or tell you how urgent something is. It is not a doctor, a triage service or an emergency service, and it must not be used as one.
In an emergency, call 112 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a chat reply.
Always consult a qualified medical practitioner about your own health. Any decision you take after using MedQbit remains your decision.
4. Beta status
During beta, and while MedQbit remains under development:
- Answers may be wrong, incomplete or out of date, including prices and whether a provider is empanelled for a scheme.
- Features may appear, change or be withdrawn, and some are marked "Soon" precisely because they do not exist yet.
- The service may be interrupted for maintenance, or because the AI model behind it is unavailable — the chat says so when that happens.
- Coverage is limited to Delhi-NCR. Asking about other cities will not produce useful results.
- We may reset, migrate or delete beta data where we have to, and will avoid it wherever we can.
MedQbit is provided during beta "as is", without warranties of any kind.
5. Your account
You can use MedQbit as a guest. Signing in uses your existing TheThs account — MedQbit never asks for a password of its own. Keep your account secure and do not share it; what is done through your account is treated as done by you.
You can delete your chat data, or request deletion of your account, from the account menu in the chat at any time.
6. Using it properly
Please do not:
- use MedQbit for medical emergencies, or in place of professional care;
- submit someone else's personal or health information without their consent;
- try to make the assistant ignore its instructions, reveal system information, or produce unsafe medical claims;
- scrape, bulk-extract or resell the listings, or use automated tools against the service;
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
- use it for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.
We apply rate limits, and we may suspend access that breaks these rules.
7. Listings, prices and providers
Listings come from the TheThs directory and from the providers themselves. We work to keep them accurate, but details change: a price may be outdated, a doctor may have moved, an empanelment may have lapsed. Confirm with the provider before you travel, book or pay.
A provider appearing in an answer is not a recommendation or an endorsement, and we are not responsible for the care any provider gives.
8. Your chats
Your transcript stays on your device where your browser supports it, and a copy is kept briefly on our servers so follow-up questions work. We may review conversations to improve MedQbit, with personal details removed first. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept and for how long.
You are responsible for what you type. Please do not put health details in a chat that you would not want recorded.
9. Our content
MedQbit, the TheThs directory, and the software behind them belong to TheThs. You may use MedQbit's answers for your own personal purposes. You may not copy the listings in bulk, republish them, or use them to build a competing directory.
10. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of MedQbit, and we may update these terms. When a change is material, the date at the top changes and the chat shows a notice. Continuing to use MedQbit after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TheThs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of MedQbit — including reliance on an answer, an inaccurate listing or price, or the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
This does not affect your rights against a healthcare provider you choose to visit.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
